APHRODITE

Antigonish is home to Aphrodite and Friday, November 23 is a big day on our Main Street. We kick off the Christmas Season with the town tree lighting ceremony- and we are so proud to have the tree on our front lawn. Then Main Street goes into Moonlight Madness with stores open until 11 p.m. and most are offering specials to customers who are getting their Christmas shopping underway.  Part of the street will be blocked off  and filled with a stage for live music, hot chocolate and cookies and lots of other treats and fanfare for everyone.  CJFX will be doing a live broadcast all day from our other front lawn.  Come downtown, bring the family, dress up with Christmas in mind and just plan to have a great old day! And be sure to visit us at Aphrodite where Father Christmas has gently made an appearance with a fashion show of his own. Have a look at what more you will find for this festive holiday season. BTW – we promise not to play Christmas music until the first week of December. We’re taking our time getting the season underway and we’ll just keep adding more as the big day draws nearer.
