Aphrodite – Small but Mighty!

Here we are in this little wee town but Aphrodite is having a reach around the world. I’ve recently been told that people from Mexico to the Yukon are talking about us. In the past week our blog hits came from these countries – see below (taken from our blog stats). Isn’t it good to know that small is mighty and we’re not taking second place just because we are small?
We’ve got some big plans rolling out for Spring that we’ll let you know about soon. Stay tuned….. In the meantime come and visit – we might spill some secrets. But better yet – take in a breath of early spring by seeing what’s in “store” from some of the best designers across Canada and around the world. Antigonish has never looked so good!

That’s amazing Tiiu, good for you. We are down in Florida for a few months. Definitely enjoying sun and sand and sea. It seems so odd to go from wearing cords and cashmere, several layers. To looking for sleeveless everything. The lighter the better. St. Patricks day is a big deal down here. Any excuse for a party, you know, so I am on the hunt for a green outfit to go with my green beads.
As the grocery stores ramp up the sale of corned beef and cabbage and all the trimmings, the cabbages are only 39 cents a pound and they are so fresh and tender they are like eating lettuce. And no cabbagey smell. Well actually I have been serving it only as cole slaw. Delicious.
So Happy St. Patricks day, spring is on the way.

Well Michal we’re having another snowstorm today. The news now is when it doesn’t snow. But at least it’s beautiful to look at although white sand would be a lot easier on the eyes. Send us a picture of you in your green outfit – I’ll post it. I hope you find a four leaf clover in your search. Keep on having fun down there. We’ll mind the fort up here.
