Breathe and believe that spring weather will soon be here. Then comes summer – we can’t wait but we want to be ready. Well be prepared to tune in this Sunday at 12:30 pm when Emmy (Alcorn) and Tiiu (me) go live on Facebook. We’re going to talk about getting ready but that’s all I’m going to tell you for now. Other exciting news is that we are now featuring jewellery by Shelley MacDonald at Aphrodite. Shelley was born and raised in Antigonish and is best friend to my daughter Dana. She went off to study jewellery making at NSCAD U and then moved to Whitehorse where her Ulu earrings were worn by Kate Middleton during her recent visit to the Yukon. Shelley’s business has spiralled upwards (even before the Kate effect) and she’s been travelling Europe to participate in major fashion events.
